Composite Sink Restoration Update: Why We Retired Old Methods & The Current 3-Step System (2026)

🛑 IMPORTANT SYSTEM UPDATE – Legacy Method Retired

Since this article was originally written, composite sink restoration has become easier, safer, and more effective. Field results proved that solvent-based stone sealers (like Miracle 511) can lead to permanent surface rejection if the sink is later scrubbed with abrasives or exposed to harsh conditions.

We have retired the "Seal & Enhance" method described in the legacy version of this post.

The Current Professional Standard: A replenishable, non-solvent chemistry that creates a harder, more durable protective shell with no harsh odor. This is a more advanced proven 3-step system trusted by fabricators and homeowners.

The Proven 3-Step System

To restore a quartz/granite composite sink effectively, use these three targeted products designed to work in sequence:

1. Supreme Surface® Scum & Mineral Deposit Remover (Step 1 – The Reset)

Why? The "Gentle Giant" dissolves the mineral "wall," soap scum, old oils, and bonded contaminants that block proper bonding. Essential pre-clean before restoration.

2. Supreme Surface® Restore, Revive & Refresh™ (Step 2 – The Healer)

Why? This penetrating treatment replaces old solvent sealers. It repairs depleted seals, fills light scratches, revives deep color and vibrancy, and creates a hardened shell — without harsh chemicals or odor.

Everything i see here is about dark sinks. My Kraus compositie sink is WHITE, or was. It has brouwn stains, probably from coffee, that do not budge. Will the restoring products fix a WHITE sink?
